This Privacy Policy applies to EduSupport services and website features. EduSupport is used as a brand and site name, not as a registered company claim. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
• Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and academic details when you contact us for services
• Communication Data: Messages, project requirements, and correspondence through email, contact form, or other channels
• Usage Information: How you interact with our website and services for improvement purposes
• Academic Content: Project details, assignments, and academic materials you share for assistance
• Service Delivery: To respond to enquiries and provide agreed tutoring, review, editing, or mentoring support
• Communication: To respond to inquiries, provide updates, and maintain client relationships
• Quality Assurance: To ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement
• Legal Compliance: To meet legal obligations and protect our legitimate business interests
• We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties
• Information may be shared with vetted service providers who assist in delivering our services
• Academic content is handled under our privacy controls and is not shared without explicit consent
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety
• We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information
• Website traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to service enquiries is limited to people who need it to respond
• Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only
• No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we review security controls when features or third-party services change
• Contact enquiries, service correspondence, and shared academic/project materials are kept only as long as needed to respond, provide support, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements
• Analytics and error-monitoring data are retained according to the settings and retention periods available in Google Analytics and Sentry
• Materials are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy
• We do not publish a physical postal address; privacy requests should be sent by email
• Our free tools — including developer tools (JSON Formatter, Regex Tester, Base64 Encoder/Decoder, Hash Generator, JWT Decoder) and student tools (GPA Calculator, Word Counter, Citation Generator) — run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript.
• No data you enter into any tool is transmitted to our servers. All processing happens locally on your device and is discarded when you leave the page.
• We do not store, log, or have access to any content you process using our tools.
• The Hash Generator uses your browser's built-in Web Crypto API (SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512) — hashing occurs entirely client-side.
• We strongly advise against pasting sensitive production secrets (passwords, private keys, live tokens) into any online tool, including ours.
• We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use EduSupport so we can make it better for you. This helps us see which tools and pages are most helpful, how long content takes to load, and where visitors come from — so we can keep improving.
• Google Analytics uses small cookies (_ga, _gid) stored in your browser to count unique visits and sessions. These cookies contain no personally identifiable information and are used purely for measurement.
• We use Google Signals, which allows Google Analytics to provide more accurate cross-device insights when visitors are signed into their Google account and have enabled ads personalization. This helps us understand how our content is used across different devices. Google handles this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
• We have enabled Ads Personalization to help ensure any advertising shown to our visitors is relevant and useful rather than random. This uses aggregated, anonymized audience insights — we never share individual user data.
• All Analytics data is processed and stored securely by Google LLC. We do not hold raw visitor data on our own servers. Your data is handled in line with Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
• You are always in control: opt out of Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), manage your ad personalization preferences at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy, or review your activity at myactivity.google.com.
• We use Sentry (sentry.io) to monitor errors and performance on our website. When an error occurs, Sentry automatically captures technical details — including the page URL, browser type, operating system, and IP address — to help us reproduce and fix the issue.
• We have enabled Session Replay, which records a technical reconstruction of user sessions (mouse movements, clicks, and page interactions) around the time an error occurs. Approximately 10% of all sessions are recorded, and 100% of sessions where an error is detected. Replays are used solely for debugging and are not shared.
• Sentry does not receive any personal information you submit through our contact form — your name, email, and message go directly to our own servers and are never sent to Sentry.
• All data collected by Sentry is stored securely by Functional Software, Inc. You can review Sentry's privacy practices at sentry.io/privacy.
• To opt out of error tracking and session replay, you can disable JavaScript in your browser or use a browser extension that blocks third-party scripts.
• Access: You can request access to your personal information we hold
• Correction: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal requirements
• Portability: You can request your data in a commonly used format
• Timing: We aim to review privacy requests within 30 days, unless more time is required by law or because the request is complex
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
